Sahani, who walked out in the middle of a Grand Alliance press conference just before the Assembly election, over differences on seat-sharing with the RJD, won four seats in the elections. Sahani— the 'Son of Mallah' who brought the votes of the Extremely Backward Class vote of his boatmen community— was also seen meeting with the former chief minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha – Secular (HAM-S) chief, Jitan Ram Manjhi, a week ago.
