Boy jumps compound wall, tree branch penetrates his thigh

A young boy playing cricket jumped over the compound wall. This resulted in a tree branch penetrating his thigh.

Haveri (Karnataka): A tree branch penetrated the thigh of a boy when he jumped the compound to fetch a ball. This incident took place in Kalasur village of Savanur taluk in Haveri district.

Tarun Bellary (9) was injured when he went to fetch a ball and jumped the compound wall. He and his friends were playing cricket when this happened.

The boy was treated at the Primary Health Center and tree branch was removed from his thigh. He has been admitted to the District hospital for further treatment.

The incident took place within Savanur police station range.
