Jalgaon: A trainer aircraft crash-landed in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, killing one pilot and injuring another on Friday. The plane has crash-landed on a wooded hillside near Wardi village in Jalgaon's Chopda tehsil at around 3.30 pm. The instructor pilot on the flight was killed and a female trainee was injured in the incident. After the crash, police teams reached the spot to carry out rescue operations.
The crash site is a part of the Satpura mountain ranges, and information was received by authorities around 5:15 pm, police said. "One occupant was declared dead on arrival by hospital authorities, while the second person has sustained injuries," police added.

The training aircraft was from NIMS Academy of Aviation of SVKM Board at Shirpur in Dhule district. The deceased pilot is identified as 30-year-old Noorul Amin and the injured is Anshika Gujar, 24 years. The plane was on a routine training flight while the accident occurred.
