All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday hit out at the government and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat over the anti-Muslim sloganeering at Jantar Mantar on Sunday and questioned the people who had said that the DNA of Muslims and Hindus is the same and no one needs to fear.

The National President of Hindu Raksha Dal, Pinky Chaudhary has released the video claiming that the Hindu Raksha Dal takes responsibility whatsoever in connection with the controversial slogan-raising incident that took place during the Bharat Jodo Movement.

Guinea has announced that a case of the deadly Marburg virus has been detected, the first such in that country and in West Africa, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has said.

1. India tops in terms of highest engagement on Facebook during Tokyo Olympics

India outranked countries like the US, Brazil and Philippines in terms of highest engagement on Facebook during the Tokyo Olympics 2020, with gold medallist Neeraj Chopra being the second most mentioned athlete on the global social networking platform.

2. Modi govt must repeal farm laws, stop privatisation & loot of national assets: CPI(M)

Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury addressing a presser in New Delhi on the occasion of 79th anniversary of the Quit India Movement, sloganeered 'Modi Sarkar Hatao, Desh Bachao' (Quit Modi, Save the country).

Ejaz Abdul Rauf Nadaf who won the National Bravery Award from the Central Government in 2018, for having saved the lives of two girls who drowned in a river in Pardi village of Ardhapur Taluka in Nanded district in 2017, is now working as a labourer to make ends meet earning Rs 300 daily.

Officials of Tamil Nadu's anti-corruption bureau, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), on Tuesday began their search operations at former AIADMK Minister S.P.Velumani's residence in Coimbatore.

The United States and China clashed over Beijing's actions in the South China Sea at a high-level UN Security Council meeting on maritime security Monday that also put a spotlight on attacks on ships in the Persian Gulf, piracy in the Gulf of Guinea, and drug and human trafficking in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean.
