Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police have arrested hardcore Naxal Dubashi Sankar involved in many violent attacks on security forces and civilians.
Dubashi Sankar, with Rs20 lakhs bounty on his head, was caught near Boipariguda in Koraput, said the police.
He was involved in the Damanjodi attack of 2009 in which 10 CISF personnel had died.
A case have been registered against the senior leader of the Maoist organisation Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC), which is operational in parts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, said Abhay Kumar, Odisha DGP.
"We have also seized ammunition from him," added Abhay Kumar.
