"Also, we have invited him to come to Telangana on December 9. In principle, he accepted to visit our state. We wanted to launch a programme to give Congress' primary membership to 10 lakh people in one day," he informed.

Telangana Congress Legislative Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said, "The agenda of the meeting is how to strengthen the organization in Telangana and what are the issues to be taken up. We talked about unemployment, farmers issue, the forest rights act, women empowerment and many other issues. All the members have given their inputs to Rahul Gandhi."

Apart from Revanth Reddy and Bhatti Vikramarka, Congress in-charge Manickam Tagore, and other leaders including Madhu Goud Yaskhi, Mohammad Azharuddin also took part in Wednesday's meeting.

Yaskhi accused Telangana Chief Minister of playing politics of polarisation, saying, "He is dividing people on caste lines and indirectly supporting BJP's anti-people issues. They are working hand in glove but are pretending to be fighting each other. So we are going to expose this nexus and TRS corruption."
