"Do not leave people in God's hand amid this crisis, people are dying and the government is hiding the exact figures of covid deaths," he said while alleging that there is a huge difference between the figures of casualties in hospitals, crematoriums and cemeteries.

"The way bodies of covid patients are floating in rivers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, it seems that the so-called Modi government system will also evade someday," he stated.

Targeting the Centre over the irregular supply of the Covid vaccine, he said that the Modi government asks states to tackle the crisis on its own, India has never seen any such Central government with this type of self-reliance model.

Questioning the character of cooperative federalism of the Modi government, he said that India has never fought an epidemic in such a cheap way and it will be marked in the history that the Modi government remained silent when the nation needed it the most.

Urging the Centre to correct its mistake and stay vigilant, he asked the government to make a centralised Covid vaccine procurement policy and treat all states equally by providing them with proper resources to combat the pandemic.

He said that the government must run through concern for its people as there is an atmosphere of frustration and despair across the nation.
