Porbandar (Gujarat): A building whose exterior surface is triangular and whose tops meet at a common point is known as a pyramid. The base of the pyramid is mostly triangular or quadrangular. Thus a pyramid usually has four or five faces. The structure of the pyramid is such that most of the weight is kept close to the ground, so that as the height increases and lesser weight is pushed downwards. This made it easier for the people of the ancient civilization to build a stable and strong building. The pyramid has been hailed as the largest masonry on earth for thousands of years.
Pyramids have been built in the houses of many people in the Jubilee area of Porbandar. Nathabhai Thanki, who lives in Jubilee, told ETV Bharat that he came up with the idea for the pyramid from the pyramid built at the house of a government official's brother in Jamjodhpur. Later in 2010 the first pyramid was built using metal. A one foot pyramid spreads energy within an area of three km. In 2012, Nathabhai went on a tour of the pyramids in Egypt and experienced a unique experience by meditating there.

In Jubilee, Jenti Bhai Thanki and Nilesh Bhai Chhelawada too have built a pyramid in their houses. Nilesh Bhai Mandera has built a pyramid at his farm and has been meditating there for six years. The cost of designing a basic pyramid structure starts from Rs 35,000 and goes up to lakhs of rupees depending upon the size, design and materials.
Alpa Todramal of Osho Meditation Centre near Porbandar Sardar Patel Sports Complex told ETV Bharat that her father Lalji Bhai Ramjibhai Todramal was a mechanical engineer and had a keen interest in meditation and spiritual activities. He built a pyramid at the Osho Meditation Center using all calculations, including longitude and latitude, without the use of a single metal. Many people coming to meditate at this centre
Bharat Rawal, a Reiki master and Vastu expert of Porbandar, told ETV Bharat that the personal pyramid is used in the healing system during Reiki treatment and in meditation and personal goal achievements. The Vastu pyramid is used to prevent Vastu faults. Such pyramids are used to awaken the land, and prevent land defects and material faults. Building pyramids in homes, shops, or office land also transmits positive energy.
