Perinthalmanna (Kerala): A rare version of the Qur'an less than half the size of a matchbox, owned by Rashidali Thonikkara, a native of Tirurkadu in Perinthalmanna is up for auction. He is organising the auction to raise funds for the expansion of Thirurkkad Masjidur Rahman's graveyard.
The miniature edition of this Qur'an was released by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the 35th Sharjah International Book Fair in 2017and only 100 such copies were released at the time. Rashidali was able to get a copy of this Qur'an. This limited edition thumbnail Qur'an is very difficult to read with the naked eye.

The auction is set to be held next week. Rashidali also has another version of the Qur'an, which is the size of a matchbox.
