Rajasthan: Actress's Facebook page hacked, police commissioner to monitor probe

The father of the actress stated in his petition that hackers uploaded obscene photos of his daughter by hacking her Facebook ID having 2.5 million followers. He also stated that the police did not take any effective action in the matter.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court has ordered the police commissioner to personally monitor the investigation of an FIR with regard to a case of uploading objectionable photos by hacking the Facebook ID of a Telugu film actress.

Along with this, the court has sought the research progress report after four weeks. The single bench of Judge Satish Kumar Sharma gave this order on a petition filed by the father of the actress.

During the hearing, the progress report of the research was presented by the police administration in which it was stated that the Pakistani hackers had hacked the Facebook account of the daughter of the petitioner. Apart from this, research is continuing in the matter. The court, while issuing its directive to the police commissioner, has kept the matter for hearing after four weeks.

The petition said that hackers uploaded obscene photos of the actress by hacking her Facebook ID with 2.5 million followers. The petitioner lodged an FIR at Vidyadhar Nagar police station on July 12. It was stated in the petition that the police did not take any effective action in the matter.

A complaint was also given to the police commissioner in this regard. At the same time, hackers are demanding Rs 60,000 in exchange for giving access to the page and have also removed the actress and her brother from the admin. While hearing this, the single bench has summoned the progress report of the research, and ordered the police commissioner to conduct the investigation under his supervision.
