Rallies galore in UP as poll-fever hits in advance; Priyanka to address a rally

Leaders with an eye on the ensuing Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh polls are using public platforms to beat their own trumpet. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, who are participating in various programmes across the state, are planning to reach out to the people by explaining their respective parties agendas for their uplift.

Lucknow: Political parties have started campaigning across Uttar Pradesh for the 2022 Assembly elections. On one hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is trying to reach out to the people while taking part in various programmes, on the other hand, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will go to Haridwar. Apart from this, Priyanka Gandhi will go to Gorakhpur and address the rally there.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in Ayodhya on Sunday and he will review the preparations for the Deepotsav to be conducted on November 3 after visiting Ramlala and Hanumangarhi. The Chief Minister is striving to woo the people in Ayodhya by stating the work done by his government. Similarly, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav will visit Haridwar. He will participate in the event of 'Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra' there. Apart from this, he will also unveil the statue of Sardar Patel on the occasion of 'Ekta Diwas' and will leave for Haridwar from Lucknow at 11 am.

Apart from these two, Congress's national general secretary and state in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is coming to Gorakhpur on Sunday. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address a rally in Gorakhpur, the home district of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The 'Pratigya Rally' is another in the series of rallies being taken out by the Uttar Pradesh Congress across the state.
She had launched her campaign with a rally from Varanasi, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency, on October 10. She has changed the political narrative in Uttar Pradesh to an extent by announcing 40 per cent reservation of tickets for women. She plans to override caste discrimination with gender politics. In fact, Priyanka Gandhi has already started preparing for the elections to get back her lost support base in UP. On Sunday, she will address the pledge rally in Gorakhpur, the city of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

National President of Rashtriya Lok Dal, Chaudhary Jayant Singh will reach Lucknow on Sunday after completing the 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra'. Jayant's journey was started from different districts. On reaching Lucknow on Sunday, he will release the party's manifesto. On the occasion, a massive programme is being organised in Raebareili.

Also, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi will visit Saharanpur and address a public meeting.
