Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the measures taken by the Maharashtra government to fight the COVID-19 crisis.
Talking to Modi, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray informed about the measures being taken in the state. He also told that there is a need for more oxygen supply in the state.

The Prime Minister and the Central Government have been guiding Maharashtra in the Corona crisis from the beginning and it is surely helping the State. Some of the suggestions from Maharashtra have also been accepted by the Central Government.
Letter to get other vaccines:
A letter has been sent by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Thackeray has requested the central government to expedite issuing more vaccine to the state.
Devendra Fadnavis criticizes Thackeray over Covid-29 management
Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition in the state Devendra Fadnavis criticized Thackeray for his measures to curb the transmission of the virus. Fadnavis has written a letter to Thackeray, demanding immediate termination of the policy of non-disclosure of corona deaths in Mumbai.
He said it compromises the type of tests, creating an image of declining corona infection rate and obstructing the fight against corona without revealing the real definite state of the corona crisis in the state.
