New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday donated a sum of Rs five lakh towards the construction of the Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
According to reports, the President donated Rs 5,00,100 to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, set up by the central government for the construction and management of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan donated a sum of Rs one lakh towards the construction of the temple.
The Ram temple trust today launched its campaign for collecting funds for the upcoming temple in Ayodhya.
The trust has started a month-long mass contact and contribution campaign across the country for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
