Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): A poster on social media depicting CM Yogi Adityanath as Lord Krishna's father Vasudev carrying UP (shown as a child) in a basket has heated up the political atmosphere. In the image, the child has been compared to people of UP and CM Yogi is shown as the one who is protecting them from evils of terror, mafia and antisocial elements. While Lord Vishnu's eternal snake is shown with its five-headed hood symbolizing - Ujjwala scheme, Mission Shakti, Covid Vaccination, Love Jihad law and Bhagya Laxmi Yojana providing cover to the CM, as he is shown crossing the turbulent river.
The image put by the UP BJP on their Twitter handle on Monday has been captioned "Kaliyug monsters create an uproar, Chief Minister Yogi turns nurturer". The Kaliyug (the age of darkness) monsters are illustrated as giant snakes and crocodiles that want to harm the child (People of Uttar Pradesh).Uttar Pradesh will be going to the polls in 2022.

Poster politics even in Madhya Pradesh
On Tuesday, in Madhya Pradesh posters depicting Congress' Kamal Nath as Lord Krishna and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as 'Kans' were put up outside the Congress office. "Through this poster, people are urging Kamal Nath Ji to contest 2023 polls and teach BJP a lesson. When sin increases on earth, God sends someone... Kamal Nath is that 'Vikas Purush'. His Chhindwara model is an ideal example of development in the state. While CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has not done enough here," Shahyar Khan, a Congress leader said.
The Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls are expected to be held in 2023. The tussle between Congress' Kamal Nath and BJP's Shivraj Singh Chouhan began when the former had resigned last year after Congress lost its majority. Following the rout of the Congress, BJP had formed the government and Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the fourth time.
