New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha and West Bengal on Friday to review the impact of cyclone Yaas on the two coastal states.
Government sources said Modi will first hold a review meeting in Bhubaneswar and then proceed for an aerial survey in the affected areas of Balasore, Bhadrak and Purba Medinipur.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar will receive PM Modi at Kalaikunda Air Force Station. PM will visit areas Cyclone affected areas in the state to assess damage to life & material. He will then hold a review meeting.
According to sources, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will meet PM Modi at Kalaikunda Air Force Station & are likely to discuss issues related to damage caused by the cyclone. The two will also conduct aerial surveys of cyclone-affected areas in the state separately.
The Prime Minister on Thursday chaired a meeting to review the impact of the cyclone. During the review meeting, PM Modi advised the concerned agencies to ensure normal life is restored in the affected areas at the earliest.
Cyclone Yaas made its landfall in Odisha on May 26.
