Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that BJP was looking to implement its 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' model in the southern state of Telangana. "BJP wants all-around development of Telangana. 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas' is the mantra we want to follow on this path. We held the executive meeting here this year keeping in mind people's love for us" Modi said during his speech.

"In the last eight years, we strived to bring change in the lives of Indians. BJP's electoral performance in Telangana in 2019 has increased ever since. You all showed love for the party. In the Greater Hyderabad elections, BJP saw unforeseen success. People are paving the way for the BJP government in the state," he also said.

Speaking to the people, he said a step had been taken to further the dream of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' by offering courses in Telugu. "Mothers in the state's villages would be proud when they learn that their children would be able to avail courses in technology and science in Telugu, as we have taken that step through our NEP (National Education Policy)," he said.

"The Ramanagundem fertilizer factory, which was lying closed for all these years, is being worked upon and is very soon going to be dedicated to the service of the country. One of the seven mega textile parks is going to be set up in Telangana. Thousands of young people are going to be getting livelihoods because of this. I promise you when Telangana gets a double-engine government, the development will speed up doubly in both cities and villages," he stated.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, the PM asserted that the party's goal should be "fulfillment of all" as against the opposition's politics of appeasement. He said this during the BJP national executive meeting in Hyderabad, the city he referred to as 'Bhagyanagar'. Prime Minister Modi also said the country was fed up with dynastic politics and dynastic political parties and added that it would be difficult for such parties to survive long. At a press conference, senior party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad referred to various points raised by the prime minister in his speech.

He outlined the evolution of the BJP and explained: "the duty we owe to the country and its people". Referring to Hyderabad as "Bhagyanagar", Modi said Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel laid the foundation of "Ek Bharat" (United India) by integrating the region into the Union and it is the BJP's historical obligation to build 'Shreshtha Bharat'.

Without naming anyone, Modi said the parties which ruled India for a long are in terminal decline now. "We should not mock them but learn from their mistakes," Prasad quoted Modi as having told the gathering. The prime minister also hit back at opposition parties for questioning the BJP's democratic credentials and asked what is the status of democracy within their organizations. Modi asked BJP workers to undertake a 'Sneh Yatra' and reach out to all sections of society.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that rampant lawlessness in the state needed to be addressed. "The level of misgovernance and political lawlessness that is there in this state, all attempts to misguide the BJP's mission, has come undone. The disgusting practice of establishing one's own stamp upon Centre's scheme is regularly seen here. The day is not far when under the leadership of PM Modi, lotus will bloom in Telangana, just like it has bloomed in Uttar Pradesh," Adityanath said.

Union Home Affairs Amit Shah, on the other hand, said that he was confident about a BJP government being established in the state. "I was there when Telangana was formed, and I am here today. Today, I want to address KCR and say 'hold the elections whenever you want'. Hold them in advance, delay them - the government that will be established is going to be a BJP government" Shah said.
