Chennai: Brinda Karat of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has said the voters of Tamil Nadu will not believe the freebies offered by the governing AIADMK in the state.
Ms Karat's comments came as she urged support for her party's candidate Srinivasan in Kovilpatti constituency. Minister Kadampur Raju and Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK)'s TTV Dhinakaran are the other prominent contestants in the constituency.
In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Karat said the AIADMK was behaving like a puppet of the BJP

Karat said the people are not communal but BJP-RSS is trying to create a communal situation and they don't care about the people or workers.
A fine example of their arrogance she said, was the introduction of the farm laws and that MNREGA is a scam.
She said the biggest freebies offered by the NDA government is a waiver of more than Rs 11 lakh crore bank loans given to the companies of Ambani and Adani.
