Kozhikode: Ahead of the elections in Kerala on 6 April, the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) has called for an election boycott. At Thiruvambadi panchayat in Kozhikode, the organisation's 'Naadukaani' area committee pasted posters criticising all three political fronts in Kerala in harsh language.
Calling the development policies of the Left, Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 'agendas' to favour capitalist corporate entities, the CPI(M) said: "it is nothing but treason."
"The path to liberation is not an election but a proletarian revolution. Arm yourself to fight corporates and Brahmanical Hindu fascism. Line up in the people's war to build a secular, casteless, democratic India," the posters read.
