New Delhi: A temporary employee of the Bar Association of India was found dead at a chamber in the west wing of Tis Hazari Court in New Delhi on Thursday. The deceased who has been identified as Manoj Kumar was associated with the bar association as a private sweeper. After receiving the information, police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
DCP, North District, Sagar Singh Kalsi said that the police received information in the morning. After which the police team reached the spot and began an investigation. In an initial investigation, the deceased has been identified as Manoj Kumar. He was working as a sweeper at the court. He was a drug addict and was also suffering from Tuberculosis (TB). He died yesterday night because of it. However, no sign of external injury has been found on the body of the deceased."
The cause of the death will only be revealed after an autopsy, however, it is believed that Manoj died because of TB and drug addiction.
