One arrested for minor's rape in Bihar's Muzaffarpur

According to police, the 16-year-old victim was going to attend her tuition classes on January 04 when she was abducted by five men, taken to an abandoned place gang-raped and the accused attempted killing her. The police said that the victim managed to run away and they have sent her for medical examination.

Muzaffarpur: Bihar police on Thursday arrested a youth for his alleged involvement in the gang-rape of a minor girl in Muzaffarpur three days ago.

According to police, the 16-year-old victim was going to attend her tuition classes on January 04 when she was abducted by five men, taken to an abandoned place gang-raped and the accused attempted killing her. The police said that the victim managed to run away and they have sent her for medical examination.

The incident took place under Sakra police station limits.

The matter came to light when the victim and her father lodged a complaint about the matter.

The complaint stated that the victim was taken to a house situated near the petrol pump and was gang-raped by five men and they also tried killing her.

Later on, one of the accused was caught by the villagers and was handed over to the police.

However, SHO Ramnath Prasad Singh said that the victim was not gang-raped and she went with her male companion. He said women police officials are now investigating the case victim's medical report is awaited.
