New Delhi: An Army jawan died and a few others were injured during an organised and supervised training activity organised near Punjab's Pathankot due to severe weather conditions, said an Army source on Saturday.
"During an organised training activity in the area under the 9 Corps, under extreme weather conditions, one soldier lost his life while two others are serious. The injured jawans are admitted to a military hospital in Pathankot," a statement from the Army read. The injured are being treated at the military hospital in Pathankot. "The affected persons are being closely monitored and provided with requisite medical care," the statement read.
