Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses in Thiruvananthapuram could be rented for post-wedding photoshoots and small birthday parties.
At a reasonable rate, people can get their videos shot in double-decker buses of KSRTC while the bus moves slowly on the roads in Kerala’s capital city of Thiruvananthapuram or use the space for small celebrations.
KSRTC charges Rs 4000 for 8 hours. The photographers and the people on board as part of the programme can travel anywhere within 50 kilometres in Thiruvananthapuram.
Unique and trendy ‘Save the date’ videos have been taking the internet by storm over the past many months. Most of the videos are usually shot at rustic spots in the rural areas - like village pathways, ghats near the ponds or paddy fields.
Those who look for quirky, especial and unique photoshoot ideas for ‘Save the Date’ videos can make use of KSRTC’s facility in Thiruvananthapuram.
The first ‘Save the Date’ photoshoot done on the KSRTC double-decker bus has already become a hit. Ganesh, a native of Vamanapuram and Lakshmi, from Eenchakkal, who are getting married on January 18, 2021, are the first couple to get their Save the Date videography done on the KSRTC double-decker bus.
KSRTC has come up with this trendy idea to generate additional revenue. The bus would also be rented out for post-wedding photo shoots, birthday parties and such programmes.
The idea of photoshoot is becoming a hit as more and more people have been approaching KSRTC to get the double-decker bus on rent. Soon, the facility would be extended to Kozhikode and Kochi.
The top level of the KSRTC double-decker buses would be designed like the Afternoon Tea Bus model in London, to facilitate celebrations on the top level while people can travel with their families on the bottom level.
KSRTC is also providing a variety of service for post-wedding photoshoots.
