Meanwhile, Pankaj Paswan, the uncle of the deceased Aman, has made serious allegations against the government. He said that the Indian government has only signed in bringing the body from China. He said that in reality the government was not serious about the matter. He said it was his family that had to work on bringing the body home.

"In the last 21 days, after seeing the attitude of the Government of India, it came to know that this government is anti-Dalit,” Paswan said. “Not a single representative of the government was present in this whole episode. The demand for performing the last rites with state honours was not even accepted. My son has been murdered as part of a conspiracy. If all this had happened at the time of elections, then an army of leaders would have stood up. We will continue the campaign till our son gets justice."
