Dewas (Madhya Pradesh): There is no age limit for learning and this statement goes perfectly well with Resham Bai (90) from Bilawali village of Dewas. Her passion for driving is such that within just three months she mastered the skill. A video of her driving a car went viral online on Thursday making her an overnight star.

She says that all her family members, including her daughter and daughters-in-law, knew driving and hence even she wanted to learn. Initially, the woman on seeing her granddaughter drive a car had expressed her desire to her sons. However, her sons worried about her age were reluctant and explained that she should not drive a car.

But Resham Bai did not get discouraged and learnt to drive with the help of her younger son. Her family members say that the 90-yr old is also very fond of electronic gadgets, especially smartphones.

"I can drive a car on the highway at a speed of 100kmph. The age of my eldest son Narayan Singh is 68 years. The age of grandsons and granddaughters is between 20 to 40 years. It was my younger son Suresh who helped me in learning to drive and fulfilled this wish of mine by helping me drive a Maruti 800 car. Now I have applied for a licence also."

Resham Bai has 4 sons and 2 daughters, all married. But still, she handles the responsibility of grandmother, mother and mother-in-law. Even after growing old, she does all her work herself. She also wakes up early in the morning and goes to the temple to worship and even does a bit of farming.
