MoS Health Bharati Pawar tests positive for COVID-19

Taking to Twitter, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Bharati Pravin Pawar informed that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

New Delhi: Bharati Pravin Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, has tested positive for COVID-19. She took to Twitter to share the news.

    मेरे संपर्क में आये व्यक्तियों से निवेदन है कि वो अपना #Covid-19 टेस्ट करवाएं और कोरोना के बचाव के नियमों का पालन करें.

Lok Sabha member from Dindori in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, Pawar appealed to people who came in contact with her to get themselves tested while adding that she has quarantined herself.

This comes a day after Mumbai recorded a massive spurt in COVID-19 cases and a week after politicians from Maharashtra, including Arvind Sawant, Eknath Shinde and Vidya Thakur tested positive.
