New Delhi: Congress general secretary and in-charge of party's Uttar Pradesh unit Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is all set to address a series of mega rallies across the state in October. According to sources, discussions are underway to hold around 12 mega rallies in the state, of which 9 have been finalised as of now. Priyanka will kick-start her election campaign in the state from Meerut on September 29.
As per the current plan, Priyanka Gandhi will address a mega rally at Gorakhpur, the stronghold of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on October 12. The Congress leader will address mega rallies at Deoria and Azamgarh on Oct 17, and at Prayagraj on Oct 18. However, discussions are underway and changes can be made in the given schedule as per the circumstances, sources said.

Priyanka has been participating in marathon meetings with UP Congress leaders, exhorting the party workers to work round the clock.
The Congress would also organise a 12,000-km statewide "Pratigya Yatra" under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi in all 403 Assembly constituencies in the run-up to next year’s state elections.
