Hyderabad: She is autistic, but that did not deter her from fulfilling her dreams. Though she was bullied in school for being autistic, she never lost her willpower and went ahead to achieve her goals. She is an eleven-year-old Mexican child prodigy Adhara Pérez Sánchez, who has an IQ higher than Einstein.

When peers of ilk still had not even completed their high school, surprisingly, Adhara earned a master's degree in engineering and wanted to be an astronaut for NASA. She grew up in the low-income neighbourhood of Tláhau in Mexico City. She finished elementary school at the age of five, then finished middle and high school a year later. And now, she is working with the Mexican Space Agency to help promote space exploration among young girls.

Adhara's family said, "She was diagnosed with a developmental disability at the age of three after that her speech significantly regressed. She had changed three schools after being meted out stem-motherly treatment by teachers and bullying from her classmates. Hence, Adhara began to isolate herself."

Adhara's mother Nayeli Sánchez said, "She did not want to play with her classmates and she isolated herself and felt strange and different. She lost interest in daily life," she recalled. Adhara was in depression, but instead of giving a morale boost to her, people made fun of her. "I noticed my daughter already learned algebra and memorized the periodic table," Nayeli Sanchez said.

To help Adhara to deal with her depression, "I enrolled her in therapy and was advised to send her to the Centre for Attention to Talent, a school for gifted children. There, her IQ was confirmed to be 162, higher than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, both had an IQ of 160." Adhara was first introduced to Hawking when she paid a visit to one of her doctors, who had an office full of artwork displaying the scientist, who is famous for his discovery that black holes emit radiation. So, her fascination with the British physicist and space exploration was born.
