New Delhi: Following the death of Assam Rifles personnel and their family members in an ambush in Manipur on Saturday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that such incidents will hamper peace and development in the Northeast.
"We condemn the ghastly attack on the Assam Rifles personnel. I think this kind of incident will hamper the peace and development of the Northeastern Region," CM Sarma said in New Delhi.
