Devanahalli: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials on Monday apprehended a Chennai-bound passenger at Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport for allegedly carrying thirteen live bullets and a pistol in his baggage, an official said.
A CISF officer, deputed at the Bengaluru Airport to scan the baggage of travellers found bullet-like objects on the x-ray monitor while checking the bag of passenger L Nandeshwar.
"Thirteen live bullets of 32 mm calibre and a pistol were seized from the passenger who was going to Chennai," the official said.
However, Nandeshwar was allowed to travel without the gun after he showed documents for the weapon.
