Kumari Selja also raised the issue of Women Reservation saying that Congress President Sonia Gandhi always wanted to pass this bill but was unable to do so because of the lack of numbers.

She added, "we had the will but we didn't have the numbers. Today, this Government speaks a lot about women empowerment but they do nothing. They have numbers but they do not have the will that is why they are not letting that bill passed. We have already made it clear that Congress will support if the Center brings the bill for women reservation. But it is very clear that BJP and RSS are anti-women."
