Lucknow: The death of Mahant Narendra Giri, president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, has left many questions unanswered. Who is the person in Haridwar who was in constant touch with Narendra Giri and whom the Mahant mentions in his alleged suicide note? Could a third person between the guru and his disciple have gained or lost anything from all this? The CBI is looking for the answers to all these questions. A CBI team has started searching for the mysterious person in Haridwar.
The CBI team has identified about 20 such numbers in the mobile phone call details of Narendra Giri and Anand Giri, which both used to talk to. The CBI believes that through these 20 numbers that mysterious person can be reached.
The alleged suicide note of Mahant Brahmaleen Narendra Giri went viral on social media. In the note, there is talk of blackmailing on the basis of some obscene photo. Mentioning that mysterious person, he wrote that “I have got information from Haridwar that Anand Giri, in a day or two, will make viral via computer or mobile phone, a photo of me doing wrong with a girl or woman”.

According to the suicide note, Mahant Narendra Giri had a conversation with the person mentioned just before the incident. Sources said the same person was sharing information about Anand Giri with Mahant Narendra Giri. The CBI is scrutinising the call details of Narendra Giri's mobile phone to reach that person. The central agency is also investigating the confiscated mobile phones of Anand Giri, Aadhya Tiwari, Sandeep Tiwari and many others.
The CBI team has started its investigation from the angle of blackmailing. If there is any photo or video which can be used to blackmail Mahant Narendra Giri, then where is it? Who has it? In this regard, with permission from the court, the CBI will also interrogate the jailed Anand Giri, Aadhya Tiwari and his son Sandeep Tiwari. However, during the interrogation by the SIT, Anand Giri had denied the existence of any photo.
After all, what is the secret hidden in the video that disciple Anand Giri could have used to hatch a conspiracy to blackmail Mahant Narendra Giri? There are speculations from Prayagraj to Haridwar about who the third person between the guru and his disciple is and what could he or she have gained or lost.
Also being investigated is who all are the people in Haridwar that Mahant Narendra Giri call after the call of the third person. From this, 20 numbers have come out. In the call details of Anand Giri's mobile phone, the data had been deleted which is now being recovered. Many more secrets are likely to come out.
According to ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar, the laptop of Anand Giri, arrested from Haridwar, is in the possession of the Uttar Pradesh police and it is being probed. According to sources, the SIT had got some videos and photos from the laptop. Some objectionable things have also been found in Anand Giri's mobile phone. However, he had deleted some data from the phone, which the CBI is trying to recover.
