New Delhi: Lieutenant General GAV Reddy on Sunday assumed charge as the ninth Commandant of the prestigious Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya.
He took over from Lt Gen Sunil Srivastava who retired from the services on December 31.
An alumnus of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, Lt Gen Reddy was commissioned into 9th Battalion of the Jat Regiment on March 8, 1986.
The General Officer has attended the Defence Services Staff College at Wellington and also tenanted a vast number of important Command and Staff appointments before assuming Command of Officers Training Academy, Gaya.
