Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala progresses in Covid 19 vaccination as over one crore people aged above 18-years in the state have been administered with the second dose. The state also crossed 90 per cent of first dose vaccination on Tuesday, with 90.31 per cent of the population being vaccinated so far. While, 2.41 crore people have been vaccinated with at least one dose of the Covid vaccine, the percentage of people who have received complete vaccination is 37.78 per cent.
3,42,10,890 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the state so far, whereas districts such as Wayanad, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram and Idukki districts are at the top in the vaccination process.

In Kerala, women also outnumbered men in the number of vaccines administered with 1,77,51,202 doses being given to women, while 1,64,51,576 men were also administered with Covid 19 vaccines.
The state also marked 100 per cent vaccination to health care workers and frontline workers with the first dose, whereas 87 per cent got the second dose.
Among those aged above 45, 96 per cent were given first dose vaccines and 56 per cent were given second dose vaccines. The state is also added with 50,000 doses of COVAXIN, the health minister Veena George explained.
