Patna: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will visit Patna on August 31 to meet chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. He is on a mission to unite the opposition parties against BJP for the 2024 Lok Sabha.
Requesting anonymity, an official posted in the CM house told ETV Bharat, "Yes, it is confirmed that Telangana CM along with leaders of other states are also coming to meet CM on August 31.” After the formation of the new government, Nitish had categorically said that he was in touch with other leaders of the opposition to unite political parties ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha poll.
It would be the first meeting of Nitish to unite the opposition after the formation of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar. The JDU and RJD leaders have been issuing statements that Nitish has all the qualities to challenge PM Modi in 2024.
