New Delhi: The decomposed body of former member of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Council and National Conference (NC) leader Trilochan Singh Wazir was found in an apartment in Delhi's Moti Nagar on Thursday. He was 67.
Singh was the chief of the Jammu & Kashmir Gurudwara Prabandhak Board and also a renowned transporter. He was considered a close aide of NC chief Farooq Abdullah and his son and NC vice president Omar Abdullah.
According to some sources, Singh was murdered. However, the exact cause of his death will be ascertained only after autopsy reports are out.

"Shocked by the terrible news of the sudden death of my colleague Sardar T. S. Wazir, ex member of the Legislative Council. It was only a few days ago that we sat together in Jammu not realising it was the last time I would be meeting him. May his soul rest in peace (sic)," NC leader Omar Abdullah tweeted.
The district DCP said that the police department received information of a dead body being found at a building in West Delhi's Basai Darapur area. Acting on the information, a police team was dispatched to the building, who recovered Singh's body.
