Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has re-allocated the portfolio again following dissent from Health Minister, Dr K Sudhakar in the Cabinet.
Yediyurappa explained that separation of Health and Medical Education departments would affect the COVID-19 vaccination drive in the state, in the light of Dr Sudhakar being divested of the Medical Education portfolio.
After pressure from Dr Sudhakar, Yediyurappa has re-allocated the portfolio of three ministers on Monday.
The re-allocated portfolio list as follows:
* Dr K Sudhakar: Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department
* J C Madhuswamy: Tourism, Ecology and Environment Departement
* Anand Singh: Infrastructure Development department, Haj and Wakf
