Ujjain: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Thursday alleged that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee is involved in coal and cow smuggling in the state.
Speaking to reporters at Ujjain's Mahakaal temple, Vijayvargiya who had in Bengal said that 41 Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLAs would be joining BJP soon, said that not everyone would be inducted into the party.
"Only those who have a clean image would be taken in the saffron party. None from Abhishek Banerjee's syndicate raj would be taken. People involved in the smuggling of coal and cow would not be given entry into BJP," Vijayvargiya said.

He added that West Bengal Food and Civil Supplies Minister Jyotipriyo Mallick wanted to come into BJP, but the party is not going to take him in as they have several documents showing that Mallick sold the rice meant for PDS into the open market.
"He will not come into BJP, but will go to jail," Vijayvargiya said.
The BJP National General Secretary also said that although the Modi government is soaring in the sky, one can never be too careful in politics.
