Ranchi (Jharkhand): The Jharkhand High Court on Friday rejected the bail plea of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in the fodder scam case.
The bench of Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh dismissed the bail petition of the former Bihar chief minister. Meanwhile, Jharkhand High Court asked Yadav to file a fresh petition after two months.
He moved a bail plea as he has already completed almost half of his sentence.
According to reports, Yadav has already acquired bail in three cases of over Rs 900 crore fodder scam and was expecting a favourable decision in the Dumka treasury case for release from jail. Presently, the RJD leader Prasad is undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi.
