Troops find ammunition in Kashmir forest area

Troops from 24 Assam Rifles and a police party found thirty rounds, grenades and empty AK-47 magazines during the operation in Naranag forest.

Kangan (Jammu & Kashmir): Security forces during a nighttime search on Tuesday found grenades and bullets in Naranag forest in central Kashmir.

An official said soldiers from 24 Assam Rifles, along with police from Kangan police station, launched the search operation. Thirty rounds, grenades and empty AK-47 magazines were found during the operation.

The police registered an FIR and started an investigation.
