Hyderabad: India reported 41,806 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the data updated by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry at 8 am on Thursday showed. The COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 4,11,989 with 581 fresh fatalities.
The overall tally of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 3,09,87,880. There are 4,32,041 active cases at present. According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 39,130 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total discharge to 3,01,43,850 till date. The Ministry said that a total of 39,13,40,491 people have been vaccinated so far in the country under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 43,80,11,958 samples have been tested up to July 13 for Covid-19. Of these 19,43,488 samples were tested on Wednesday.
