Hyderabad: India reported 39,361 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry at 8 am on Monday. The death toll climbed to 4,20,967 with 416 daily fatalities. The active cases stand at 4,11,189.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 3,05,79,106. The Ministry said that 43,51,96,001 people have been vaccinated so far in the country under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 45,74,44,011 samples have been tested up to July 25. Of which, 11,54,444 samples were tested on Sunday.
