Hyderabad: India has achieved a significant milestone in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with nearly 4.5 million (44,49,552) beneficiaries receiving the vaccination in merely 19 days.
India has become the fastest country to achieve four million COVID19 vaccinations, doing so in just 19 days. The countrywide COVID-19 vaccination drive was launched on January 16, 2021. Pertinently, many other countries had a head start of almost 65 days.

The government has vaccinated over 41,38,918 healthcare workers against the coronavirus in over 76,576 sessions conducted so far.

54.87 per cent of the total beneficiaries vaccinated against COVID-19 so far are from seven states.

The difference in new recoveries outnumbering new cases has also improved. The total recovered cases are 67.6 times the active cases.
