Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray likely to announce his decision on lockdown in the state on Wednesday after 8 pm, said state Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Tuesday.
This comes after the Maharashtra government's decision of complete lockdown on weekends has failed to contain the COVID-19 situation, former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said that his party supports the decision of weekends lockdown and appealed to the people to follow the restrictions.
2. TTD to declare Anjanadri as Lord Hanuman's birthplace today
The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam has decided to declare Anjanadri as the original birthplace of Lord Hanuman on Sri Rama Navami which falls on April 21. The decision to declare Anjanadri as the original birthplace of Lord Hanuman has been taken based on historical and epigraphical shreds of evidence, says TTD.
