Mandya (Karnataka): Former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday said that he does not know anyone by the name Radhika and hence he should not be asked about her.
Kumaraswamy, who was participating in an event at Neralekere village in Srirangapatna taluk in Mandya district, replied to reporters queries on actress Radhika Kumaraswamy being investigated by the CCB, by saying that "Who is she? I don’t know who she is. Don’t ask me about her."
Radhika Kumaraswamy on Friday appeared before the Central Crime Branch in Bengaluru after investigation officials found monetary transactions between the actor and the prime accused in a cheating case.
Radhika was summoned by the CCB, which found monetary transactions worth Rs 75 lakh between her and Yuvaraj who is arrested in a money fraud case. Radhika Kumaraswamy had attended the inquiry in CCB office at Chamarajapet, Bangalore on 8th Jan.
Earlier, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) issued notice to Sandalwood actress and producer Radhika Kumaraswamy for allegedly receiving Rs 75 lakh from the accused conman Yuvraj Swamy.
Yuvraj Swamy has been arrested on charges of duping a number of people including politicians and government employees. He was operating many bank accounts, one of which he had transferred Rs 15 lakh to Radhika Kumaraswamy's account.
