New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) National Spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj on being asked about the Ayodhya verdict, in relation to Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's visit to 'Ram Lalla', said that he still believes lakhs would've died had the issue been resolved according to BJP's plan, instead of Courts. He further went on to say that the Aam Aadmi Party always wanted courts to solve such complex disputes.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia who had earlier suggested ending the dispute by building a university on the disputed land of Ayodhya, on Monday, had visited the 'Ram Lalla' and 'Hanumangarhi' in the city.

Bharadwaj said that he still believes that if the BJP had decided to resolve the issue at that time, then lakhs of people would have died, adding that the BJP was thinking it could find a solution by taking out a Rath Yatra. However, it only led to riots and killings, which resulted in many families losing their breadwinners, he added.
Bharadwaj also said that the riots caused by the BJP also led to people in states like Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai facing the brunt.
