Suddenly, on August 1, the BJP high command appointed Ratnakar, a native of Uttar Pradesh, as the Gujarat BJP's state organization secretary. Now, there is a possibility of a big change in the politics of Gujarat according to political sources. They say discussions are going on that Bhikhubhai Dalsania who is replaced by Ratnaker, will be given important responsibility in Gujarat government.
After this reshuffle, discussions are now raging in Gujarat about the change of Chief Minister. If not Vijay Rupani, then who is the next Chief Minister of Gujarat?
There are rumors that Bhikhubhai Dalsania from the Patidar community, Nitin Patel and a face from the OBC community who is very close to Ratnakar can get the responsibility as the Chief Minister.
Bhikhubhai Dalsania's name tops the list in the Gujarat's next Chief Minister's race. Bhikhu Dalsania, who has been playing a pivotal role in the BJP since 2005 as the organisation's secretary, has been instrumental in strengthening the organization by playing a key role in the organization as a Co-secretary and then as organisation secretary. He is also a prominent Patidar leader. Surprisingly, Congress state president Amit Chavda said in a statement that Bhikhubhai Dalsania had been working in the BJP for the last several years and had been abruptly removed from his post. Then BJP will now give him a special responsibility. This means that it would not be a surprise if the BJP high command opts Bhikhu Dalsania as the next CM, and the 2022 assembly elections could be fought under his leadership.
Now, if Nitin Patel is appointed as the Chief Minister of the state, there are several important factors behind it. Nitin Patel has shown his expertise on important responsibilities in the state government for the last several years. He has extensive experience in state administration. Apart from this, his name is coming up as the Chief Minister due to his good grip on the Patidar community, but Nitinbhai was angry over the allocation of the portfolio in 2017 and the BJP's central team will not ignore the quarrel that arose. However, recently in Khodaldham, Naresh Patel made a statement that the Chief Minister must be a Patidar. So that it also became an issue of political debate. Following this statement, leaders of various castes demanded a CM of their caste. But since Nitin Patel is a well-known face for the Patidars, he can be made the Chief Minister. Vijay Rupani has completed 5 years as the Chief Minister, now by December 2022, if Nitin Patel is made the CM and the angry Patidars are persuaded, there is a possibility that the vote bank of the Patidars will be intact in the next elections.

Vajubhai is a very senior BJP leader. He has administrative skills as well as the art of extracting work with his sense of humor. He vacated the Rajkot seat for Narendra Modi in 2001. He is Narendra Modi's trusted leader. When Vajubhai was at the forefront of the race to become the Chief Minister of Gujarat after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, Anandibahen Patel was made the Chief Minister by making Vajubhai the Governor of Karnataka. Due to which Vajubhai Wala's dream of becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat remained unfulfilled, which may come true now.
Everyone will be shocked to hear the name of Praful Patel in the race for the next Chief Minister of Gujarat, but the BJP high command also believes in shocking everyone by announcing the name in the same way. Praful Patel, trusted by Prime Minister Modi is administrator of UT of Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu and he has vast experience in the administration of the Union Territory. He has also been the Home Minister in Narendra Modi's cabinet in Gujarat, also Diu-Daman are in proximity with Gujarat. He was elected as from Himmatnagar seat in the Gujarat Assembly poll in 2007. His father Khodabhai Ranchodbhai Patel also has RSS background. Narendra Modi has also visited him often. When Amit Shah was charged in the Sauhrabuddin murder case and was jailed, Praful Patel was appointed as Home Minister. At that time, Praful Patel was given 8 out of 10 portfolios handled by Amit Shah. Thus, considering the experience of Praful Patel, it would not be a surprise if he is promoted and made the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Earlier, BJP state president C R Patil has clearly said that the Gujarat Assembly elections of 2022 will be fought only under the leadership of Vijay Rupani, but the way the BJP high command believes in shocking everyone, anything can happen. There is still about a year and a half left before the Assembly elections. Until then the equations of politics may also change.

Which made people angry with Vijay Rupani, but it doesn't seem likely to change the Chief Minister. BJP is good at giving surprises. Instead of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Mansukh Mandvia can be given the reins of Gujarat. Apart from this, the names of Pursottam Rupala, Pradipsinh Jadeja and Nitin Patel, who was earlier in the Chief Minister's race, are also being discussed. However, at present, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is unlikely to be replaced."
Another Political Expert, Jaywant Pandya, said to ETV Bharat that 'no one seems to be able to change Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in Gujarat politics at present. Because, Vijay Rupani has a very calm and simple nature. Also is considered close to Modi-Shah, so that doesn't seem any change him at the moment."
