The wedding day is a life-changing day for both the bride and the groom. In India, this day is celebrated with great opulence. One of the integral parts of a wedding ceremony is weeks and months of grooming. And while we mostly talk about bridal grooming, grooms too have a beauty regime that they follow before the wedding. Today, we will discuss some of beauty and grooming tips for grooms which are a must-follow if grooms want to look radiant on their big day.

Wash Your Face

Now, this might seems like a very basic tip, but it can make a big difference. When we say wash your face, we mean to make a routine and stick to it. If you use a face wash that suits your skin use, start washing your face with that daily a few weeks ahead of the wedding. This practice will not let dirt or oil settle in your skin and your face radiant.

Stay Hydrated

Drinking lots of water should be on top of any skincare regime. It replenishes your skin and heals it from within. Start with drinking 8 glasses of water every day; you can also eat fruits and vegetables with high water content. This will flush out the toxins from your body and not only make you healthier but also give a glow to your skin.

Groom Your Hair

Start grooming your hair, beard, moustache, and body hair on a regular basis. Talk to your barber about what haircut or shape of beard suits you the best. If they think a cut is needed, make sure of getting it done several days ahead of the wedding so that it gets time to settle. If you have a hairy chest and back and you would not want them to peep out of the clothes, you can also consider waxing. Lastly, don’t take your eyebrows lightly they have the power to accentuate the entire look. So while you may not want to stand beside your bride with cleanly plucked eyebrows but you may want to consider getting rid of the bushy unibrow.

Get Manicure, Pedicure

Do not forget to get a highly professional manicure and pedicure. During the sangeet, when you are dancing your heart out, you would not want your unevenly shaped toenails and fingernails to embarrass you. Again, make sure you get this service a few days ahead of the first wedding ritual so that the new look settles.

Take Care Of Your Teeth

The last thing you would want is having a dis coloured smile for your wedding photographs. If you are a coffee drinker or a smoker, basically, prone to discolouration, it is important that you go for teeth cleaning session a couple of weeks ahead of the wedding. This way you will get rid of the discolouration but also your teeth will not be too white.

Pro Tips: Try using hair spray instead of hair gel. Hair spray gives a better finish to the hair than gel. Secondly; always smell good during the festivities. You can stick to your regular cologne or get a new one. Do keep in the mind that the fragrance should not be too strong and should have a lingering effect.
