Bhopal: Four infants have died at a state-run hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol within a span of 24 hours, triggering allegations of negligence. The case of alleged gross medical negligence has again raised questions on the health administration of Shahdol as this is the second such incident reported within a year.
The deceased infants were aged between three days to four months. According to reports, three infants were admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of the hospital and one was undergoing treatment at Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).
