FM says health allocation increased by 9.79% in new budget

Bengal did not send funds
The benefit of 1.15 lakh cr has been transferred to farmers. In 2020-21, allocation of Rs 75,000 cr was transferred under PM Kisan Samman Yojna. 69 crore farmers were benefitted.

New Delhi: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will reply to the discussion on the Union Budget in Lok Sabha on Saturday at 10 am.
Saturday will also mark the end of the first part of the Budget session of the Parliament. Sitaraman, while replying to the discussion on the Union Budget in Rajya Sabha on Friday, slammed the Opposition and accused them of constantly alleging a false narrative that the government only worked for cronies and said several of the Centre's schemes were for the poor.
She reminded members of the Upper House of several schemes that have been implemented for the poorer sections of the country, like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Saubhagya Yojana. She also said the Union Budget 2021-22 is the instrument through which Aatmanirbhar Bharat is to be attained and asserted that the government is also looking at "long term sustainable growth".
Finance Minister had presented the Union Budget 2021-22 in the Parliament on February 1.

BJD leader Bhartruhari Mahtab said, "I have not heard anything from govt that why the ordinance was passed even before the house could meet last year. I do not find any reason to oppose the bill. Assembly of JK can function like that of Puducherry. All the officers of the existing cadre will be a part of the functional cadre. All laws of Union of India has been brought in JK.

Increase in encounters given development a backseat
JK MP Hasnain Masoodi said "There has been a rise in encounters. The move may have been aimed at development. But due to the rise in encounters in rural and urban areas, there has been no development."

No development in JK
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury attacked Centre over the abrogation of article 370 in JK. He said that the Centre said that there would be developmental activities and generation of employment opportunities but nothing of such sort happened.
High Court said that Roshni Act was illegal. After the scrapping of article 370, businessmen have suffered losses and there has been no development.

Government supported MSMEs via various steps during lockdown
We made sure that no one from MSME should be drawn to courts or declared insolvent. We also extended the deadline that people are not burdened with paying taxes. We have given relief by giving money so that they have additional working capital. Banks were told to make calls and send messages that we are willing to give you loan without additional security.
She said, "We suspended some clauses of the IBC so that MSMEs wouldn't be pulled to courts, declared insolvent. We also extended dates for many payments, compliance to March 31, 2021. We also gave money to ensure working capital."

FM says health allocation increased by 9.79% in new budget
"Even WHO has said water and sanitation contribute to health and hence we have it in the budget. In budget speech I said, we are taking a holistic approach to health," said Sitharaman

Bengal did not send funds
The benefit of 1.15 lakh cr has been transferred to farmers. In 2020-21, allocation of Rs 75,000 cr was transferred under PM Kisan Samman Yojna. 69 crore farmers were benefitted.
A total of ₹1.15 lakh crores has been transferred to 10.75 crore farmers through the PMKSY, Nirmala Sitharaman says.

FM said, "Budget has been made for India's revival. PM Modi is committed to economic reforms. Stimulus plus reforms - an opportunity has been taken out of pandemic situation. Lok Sabha Budget Session Updates
New Delhi: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will reply to the discussion on the Union Budget in Lok Sabha on Saturday at 10 am.
Saturday will also mark the end of the first part of the Budget session of the Parliament. Sitaraman, while replying to the discussion on the Union Budget in Rajya Sabha on Friday, slammed the Opposition and accused them of constantly alleging a false narrative that the government only worked for cronies and said several of the Centre's schemes were for the poor.
She reminded members of the Upper House of several schemes that have been implemented for the poorer sections of the country, like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Saubhagya Yojana. She also said the Union Budget 2021-22 is the instrument through which Aatmanirbhar Bharat is to be attained and asserted that the government is also looking at "long term sustainable growth".
Finance Minister had presented the Union Budget 2021-22 in the Parliament on February 1.
