Mysore: A woman was allegedly raped and murdered by a group of men after giving her alcohol in Mysore's KT street, police said on Wednesday.
Lashkar police have registered a case against five people in the case.
The victim, a beggar, was reportedly raped on Tuesday morning when she walking on K.T. street. Reports said that her attackers gave her liquor before raping and killing her.
The incident came to light around 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning before police started examining the CCTV footage of the area.
A case has been registered for rape and wrongful confinement and a search is on to nab them.
